Psychologist and board-approved supervisor for provisional psychologists in Australia, Melinda is committed to nurturing early-career psychologists, sharing her passion for addiction and trauma treatment.
In 2000, Melina founded Re-psycle, a psychology practice specialising in addiction treatment, which she directed for 20 years. In 2014, she co-founded Australian Recovery Centres, a charity supporting Australians overcoming addictive mental patterns.
Melinda has consulted for the NSW Alcohol & Drug Foundation, supervised at Guthrie House, aiding women with substance histories and involvement in the criminal justice system and acted as Clinical Director for Miracles Asia, an addiction treatment centre in Thailand. In 2018, she authored a treatment manual for addictive disorders, dedicated to her mentor Jim Maclaine.
Former member of the Alcohol and other Drugs Council of Australia and current member of the Australian & New Zealand Mental Health Association, Melinda now guides the Hope in Health team, providing best practice in addiction and PTSD treatment.
